Designed primarily for low output applications where the cost of fully automated equipment cannot be justified, it incorporates a (guarded) pneumatic cylinder to press home the lids with a pressure plate which may, if necessary, be shaped to suit. Construction is hygienic and corrosion resistant.

In operation the filled container is placed in a slide mounted holder, and a lid positioned manually. The slide is then pushed under the cylinder where it contacts a sensor which initiates the press cycle.

Replacement pressure plates and holders may be provided for different size containers.
