The 1204 is a single head gravimetric system designed primarily for accurate filling of liquid or semi-liquid products into 200kg - 1000kg containers (optional capacity up to 1500kg). The system will accommodate four (optionally six) 200 litre drums on a pallet - the filling nozzle is mounted on a pantograph type arm that enables it to be positioned over the individual container openings.

Product must be pumped to the machine at the required output rate - a by-pass valve may be included in the system, in which case provision must be made for disposal (return/re-process) of product while the filler is not operating.

Standard features include:

• Output up to 10 tonnes (50 x 200 litre containers) per hour.
• Two stage shut off for maximum accuracy (generally 1kg).
• Non drip shut off nozzle for clean filling - B/U fill option available.
• Easy disassembly for cleaning if CIP is not appropriate
• Simple controls

Construction is generally corrosion resistant - type 304 stainless steel is used for all framework, external sheathing and control enclosures - type 316 stainless steel or suitable plastics for product contact parts.

Microprocessor (PLC) control of all functions ensures exceptional reliability and, together with numerous solid state sensing devices, enables a number of additional functions including options for integration with other equipment. The basic model 1204 filler is semi automatic, with an operator required to position the nozzle over each container opening before initiating the filling cycle. Various degrees of automation are available including gravity roller and powered conveyor systems.
