Filling Machines

At Hunter Filling Systems we produce a wide range of single and multiple head fillers to suit most small to medium sized operations. Below is a list of the features you can expect, from using a Hunter filler.

(a) Accuracy - volumetric repeatability (usually better than 0.5%) enables significant reduction of product wastage/giveaway as there is no need to over fill containers to ensure correct weights. This feature also ensures that there is little chance of under weight containers finding their way into the market place, and the risk of expensive claims from unhappy consumers is virtually eliminated.

(b) Cleanliness - a range of non-drip nozzles enables exceptionally clean filling of most products. The risk of contamination due to product residue on the container lip (and thread) is greatly reduced, and no time is lost cleaning spilled product.

(c) Fast filling - often frees up one or more operators for other work. Product dispensed under a controlled pressure - continuous output mode ensures that the filling machine will determine the production rate, and not the operator.

These features will often increase the efficiency of an entire packaging line significantly, even though downstream activities like capping, labelling and packing may still be performed manually.

Versatility - most units are able to handle products with viscosity/consistency from that of water to chutney, jams, stews etc and container sizes from 1ml to 1000 litres.
Hygienic construction - product contact parts are generally T316 S/S - seals are compatible with most products - framework and cabinets are usually constructed in T304 S/S.
Simplicity - controls are accessible and easy to understand.
